CHARMED LIFE:

Comedy, storytelling and opera rolled up into one! Award-winning soprano, Lori Brown Mirabal, takes you on a musical journey from her hometown, Nashville, to stages across the world. She toasts her upbringing and the entertainment luminaries (Oprah, Cab Calloway and Pavarotti to name a few) that personally encouraged her on her path to becoming an international opera star. Complete with show-stopping numbers (from gospel to opera) and a salute to other groundbreaking black opera singers, Charmed Life is a feel good play about being open and grabbing hold of the luck that comes your way.

An outstanding talent, beautiful spirit, and all-around charmer... the pandemic closure of theaters put [the play] on hold for sixteen months, but it’s a stellar performance and a feel-good message that are well worth the wait.
- DEB MILLER, DC METRO

Storytelling magic… a moving and inspiring tale full of marvelous turns of fate and revelations
-MARIA-CRISTINA NECULA, PLAYING AROUND

Lori Brown Mirabal leaves her audience feeling happy for making the acquaintance of a dedicated artist and an optimistic person. A warm-hearted show.”
